December 28: Preparation for the 19th Pokhara Street Festival, which is to be held from December 28 to January 1, has been completed. Organising a press meet in Pokhara on Wednesday, the organisers informed that all the preparations have been completed.
The Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (Reban) is organising the 19th street festival in Pokhara.
This kind of festival helps in promoting overall tourism. Earlier, a 22-member team led by Reban's Pokhara President Chou Bhadur Gurung was formed to organise the festival successfully.
The organisers informed that the event will allow visitors to enjoy domestic and international cuisines on the streets along with live music. Gurung informed that Reban is expecting a total footfall of 500,000 individuals in the event, 30 percent of them being foreign tourists and rest domestic visitors.
