23rd Himalayan White Water Challenge 2025 will wrap up today with prize distribution in Sindhupalchowk
The 23rd Himalayan White Water Challenge 2025 commenced on Saturday in Sukute, a renowned tourist hub in Sindhupalchowk. Organized by the Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA), the event featured two major competitions on its first day: the “Slalom” competition at the Brahmayani (Balefi) River and the “Downstream Kayak Race” at the Sunkoshi (Lower Bhote Koshi) River. A total of 18 kayakers participated in these thrilling events.
Slalom and Downstream Kayak race winners will receive NPR 5,000 in cash, medals, and certificates. Moreover, based on overall points, the top three competitors in both categories will be awarded NPR 15,000, NPR 10,000, and NPR 5,000, respectively, along with medals and certificates. The event is supported by sponsors such as Tata, Ratopati Games, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Shivam Cement, and Nabil Bank. The results and prize distribution ceremony are scheduled for Sunday.
