Fourth Manjushree Trail Race will start on Chaitra 23rd (April 5)
Registration has begun for the upcoming fourth Manjushree Trail Race happening on the 23rd of Chaitra (5th April 2024). This edition will be organized as part of the Asia Trail Masters series, where the top 5 participants in the 100-mile and 100-kilometer races will qualify for the Asia Trail Masters.
China, France, and other countries with high trail running rankings will also participate. So far, applications for participation have been received from 130 athletes from 10 different countries.

In the previous edition held in 2023, 88 competitors participated, including 67 Nepalis and 21 foreigners. Among them, there were 69 male and 19 female participants.
This race is recognized by organizers of trail races worldwide, under the umbrella of the International Trail Running Association and Ultra-Trail World Tour, the global body for evaluating and grading trail runners. The association with the UTWT and ITRA has given the race international status.
According to the standards set by ITRA, participants completing the Manjushree Trail Race will receive 6 points, which will be counted towards the minimum qualification required for international trail races.
In the 170-kilometer race, the first, second, and third-place winners will receive cash prizes of 60,000, 40,000, and 20,000 respectively, along with medals and certificates. In the 100-kilometer race, the prizes will be 40,000, 25,000, and 15,000 respectively, along with medals and certificates.
For the 50-kilometer race, the prizes will be 30,000, 15,000, and 10,000 respectively, along with medals and certificates. Similarly, in the 100-stage race, the prizes will be 20,000, 10,000, and 5,000 respectively, along with medals and certificates.
