A run for unity: International Women’s Day Fun Run 2025

Kathmandu, Nepal – The highly anticipated International Women’s Day Fun Run 2025 is set to take place on March 22, 2025, at St. Xavier’s Ground, Jawalakhel. This exciting 5K Run/Walk is a celebration of equality, strength, and freedom, inviting participants from all walks of life to run for a cause.

Organized by Higher Ground Nepal, the event is more than just a race—it’s a movement promoting women’s empowerment and community spirit. The event will feature Zumba sessions, self-defense training, a kid’s fair, food stalls, and a Made in Nepal Bazar, showcasing products by women entrepreneurs.

The race will kick off at 7:00 AM, and participants can register for just Nrs. 500. Registration will open soon.
