Vaidya Energy Announces Winner of Ather Rizta Z Live Giveaway

Kathmandu – Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Ather Energy products in Nepal, has announced Mr. Salik as the winner of its live giveaway of the popular Ather Rizta Z electric scooter. The official handover will take place on Monday, August 18, 2025.

The Ather Rizta Z, launched in India in 2024, is the flagship model in Ather Energy’s family scooter range. Available in two battery variants — 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh — it offers an IDC-certified range of up to 160 km and a top speed of 80 km/h.

Standout features include a massive 56-litre storage capacity (34 litres under the seat and an optional 22-litre front trunk), a comfort-focused design with a wide seat and backrest, and modern ride-assist technologies such as AutoHold, Reverse Mode, SkidControl, and Emergency Stop Signal. The scooter also features a 7-inch TFT display with navigation and connectivity via AtherStack 6, and is available in seven vibrant color options.

Since its launch, the Rizta has become Ather Energy’s best-selling line, making up nearly 60 percent of sales and surpassing 100,000 units sold in just one year.

Vaidya Energy has built a strong support network for Ather customers in Nepal, with eight experience centers, a dedicated test ride zone, more than seven service centers, and over 23 Ather Grid fast-charging stations nationwide.

The live giveaway event was held on August 13, where Mr. Salik was officially named the winner. The Rizta Z handover on August 18 will mark his entry into premium electric vehicle ownership, following his win in the Rizta Campaign held during NAIMA from August 6 to 11, 2025.
