President Poudel Urges Calm and Dialogue to Protect Democracy Amid Ongoing Unrest
Kathmandu – President Ram Chandra Poudel has called on all sides to maintain peace and help safeguard Nepal’s constitutional order as the nation faces a period of heightened tension and political unrest.
In a statement issued on 26 Bhadra 2082 (September 11, 2025), President Poudel said he is holding consultations and making every effort to find a solution within the constitutional framework. He emphasized that the government is actively working to address the demands of protesting citizens and to reach a prompt resolution.
The President appealed to all stakeholders and the public to remain patient and support efforts to preserve democracy, ensure stability, and restore law and order across the country.
