Artudio to Showcase Final Works of AIAR Resident Artist Marianne Heredge After Month-Long Exploration in Nepal
Kathmandu — Artudio is preparing to present the final showcase of French artist Marianne Heredge, the current resident of the Artudio International Artist Residency (AIAR) under @artistresidencynepal. Heredge has spent the past month deeply immersed in her studio practice at Artudio’s Patan Wing, exploring Nepal through close observation, watercolor studies, and a visual diary approach that captures the country’s textures, rhythms, and quiet poetic details.
Her residency culminates in a new series of atmospheric watercolor works shaped by lived impressions of Nepali life. The exhibition, opening on Friday, 12 December 2025 at 5 PM, offers audiences an intimate glimpse into how Nepal’s environment and everyday subtleties influenced her creative process throughout the month.
Visitors will be able to experience the full body of work at Artudio — Patan Wing, Nakabahil, Lalitpur, with the showcase on view from 12–16 December, daily from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Artudio extended an open invitation to the public, noting that the final presentation marks an important moment in Heredge’s residency journey.
“We look forward to welcoming you all to experience the work firsthand,” the Artudio team shared.
