TVS Racing Introduces Nepal’s First-Ever Apache Racing Experience GP
Nepal’s first-ever Apache Racing Experience (ARE) GP is set to be introduced this weekend, marking a historic milestone in the country’s motorsports journey. The initiative has been launched by TVS Racing, bringing a globally recognized racing and rider development platform to Nepal for the first time.
The launch of ARE GP has been timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the TVS Apache series, commemorating two decades of racing-derived engineering, track-focused performance, and the growth of a global Apache riding community.
A landmark moment for Nepali motorsports
With the introduction of the Apache Racing Experience, Apache motorcycle owners in Nepal are being provided a rare opportunity to receive professional racing-oriented training in a controlled and safe environment. Through the program, participants are being exposed to advanced riding dynamics and race-inspired drills designed to elevate riding skills to a professional standard.
Key riding techniques such as cornering, precision braking, throttle control, race posture, and overall motorcycle handling are being emphasized, enabling riders to unlock the full performance potential of their Apache motorcycles.
Celebrating 20 years of the TVS Apache legacy
Since its introduction in 2005, the TVS Apache has emerged as one of Asia’s most celebrated performance motorcycle line-ups. Its development has been closely linked to TVS Racing India, the country’s first factory racing team, which carries more than 40 years of motorsport excellence.
To mark this 20-year journey, the globally acclaimed Apache Racing Experience has been brought to Nepal, extending TVS Racing’s international footprint and reinforcing its commitment to nurturing motorsports culture beyond India.
International exposure for Nepali riders
As part of the program, the overall winner of ARE Nepal is to be rewarded with an exclusive opportunity to represent Nepal at a One-Make Championship at the prestigious Madras International Circuit in Chennai, India. This pathway has been designed to connect grassroots passion with professional racing exposure on an international platform.
Commenting on the first international edition of ARE, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, stated that the experience was being introduced in Nepal at a particularly special moment, as the TVS Apache completes 20 years of racing-inspired performance engineering. Enthusiasm was expressed for the beginning of a new chapter in Nepal’s motorsports landscape.
Commitment to motorsports development in Nepal
Speaking on the occasion, Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., noted that the Apache Racing Experience represents a proud milestone aligned with the celebration of the Apache legacy. The initiative was described as a reflection of the company’s long-term commitment to building a motorsports culture in Nepal and providing riders with access to world-class racing exposure.
Similarly, Deepak Rouniyar, Vice President – Sales, highlighted that the Apache Racing Experience is intended to serve as a structured platform focused on skill development, discipline, and performance, rather than being limited to a one-off riding event.
