‘Ethical hacking’ competition

January 03, 2018: Cynical Technology, a cyber-security start-up company in association with the Kathmandu University Computer Club, is organising NepHACK—an ethical hacking competition—in Kavre from January 5.The two-day event will take place during IT MEET 2018 at IT Park, Banepa. 

 

NepHack is a penetration testing competition based on the Capture the Flag (CTF) framework where different teams would compete among each other for the top honour.

 

The participants will be breaking the security vulnerabilities from the questions that would be provided to them. The first, second and third prize is Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
