In a statement, the public has been urged to follow the prescribed procedures governing the use of the national flag and the national anthem, as increasing instances of misuse have been cited. It has been cautioned that violations will be addressed through legal measures.
“While using the national flag, the symbol of the nation’s pride and dignity, everyone is requested to use it strictly in accordance with prevailing laws, keeping in mind its high honor and dignity. Otherwise, if misuse is found, legal action will be taken in accordance with the law,” the statement has noted.
