Hero MotoCorp’s Glamour motorcycle and Duet scooter launched

May 7, 2018: Hero MotoCorp has launched two of its products – ‘Glamour’ motorcycle and ‘Duet’ scooter – in Nepal.

The masculine and sportier Glamour features a new engine with Hero’s 'revolutionary' i3S (idle stop-start system) technology. The new Glamour is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder, OHC engine which produces a maximum power output of 11.1 BHP @ 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 11 NM @6500 RPM. The bike races from 0-60 km/h in 6.2 seconds only.

The new sportier fuel tank, dual-tone mirrors, LED tail light with light guide, Y-spoke stylish alloy wheels, elongated and hugging rear mudguard add to the contemporary appeal of the motorcycle. In addition to the impressive performance and design elements, the motorcycle comes loaded with comfort and utility features, such as New Analog Digital Speedometer and service due indicator. The ergonomically modified saddle offers balanced load distribution and comfortable driving position. The four exciting color schemes add to the style-quotient of new Glamour – Black-Red, Black-Grey, Black-Blue and Candy Blazing Red. 

Meanwhile, the 110cc Duet comes with a sturdy metal body, advanced performance and exciting features. The scooter is powered with an all-new BSIV Compliant Air cooled, 4 – stroke single cylinder OHC engine which produces more usage power and is energy efficient. The scooter produces a maximum power output of 6 kW (8 BHP) @ 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm @ 5500 RPM. 

The scooter comes loaded with new style elements, including Digi-Analog Combo Meter Console, new body graphics and muffler cover.  All these introductions are in addition to the host of convenience and utility features such as External Fuel Filling, Under-Seat Mobile Charging Port, Remote Seat Opening and Fuel-lid Opening, Boot light, Service Due indicator, Side Stand Indicator, Twin Parking Lamps, Boot-light in the glove box among others. Duet comes in candy blazing red, grace grey and panther black colors.

The 125cc Glamour is priced at Rs 193,000 and the 110cc Duet with all-metal body is priced at Rs 179,500.
