Tranquility Spa launches premium wellness facility at Royal Tulip Kathmandu
Kathmandu- Expanding its footprint in Nepal’s growing wellness sector, Tranquility Spa has officially launched a new premium outlet at Royal Tulip Kathmandu.
The newly opened facility is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive wellness experience, combining modern infrastructure with skilled therapists and internationally aligned service standards. The outlet offers a wide range of services, including thermal hydrotherapy, traditional and therapeutic massage treatments, premium salon services, as well as swimming and fitness facilities.
The expansion comes in response to rising demand for holistic wellness and lifestyle services, particularly in the Lalitpur area. With this addition, the company aims to make high-quality wellness services more accessible while continuing to uphold its commitment to excellence.
With over two decades of experience, Tranquility Spa has played a key role in promoting spa and wellness culture in Nepal. It currently operates more than 18 outlets nationwide, primarily in leading hotels and major tourist destinations. Its services have gained popularity among both domestic and international visitors, reflecting Nepal’s growing presence in the global wellness industry.
The brand has established outlets in prominent hospitality destinations such as The Soaltee Kathmandu, Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, Hotel Shanker, Chandragiri Hills Resort, Royal Tulip Chitwan, and Fishtail Lodge by Annapurna, among others. The company has also expanded internationally, including operations in Malaysia.
Chief Operating Officer Ranil Phaiju stated that the new outlet is expected to significantly improve access to premium wellness services in the capital. He noted that with increasingly demanding urban lifestyles, maintaining both physical and mental well-being has become more important than ever.
Chairman Bhuwan Phaiju emphasized that expanding high-quality spa services across key tourism and hospitality sectors remains a central part of the company’s long-term vision. He added that such initiatives will contribute to the growth of wellness tourism in Nepal.
Currently, Tranquility Spa provides employment to around 250 individuals across the country. With the launch of the new facility, guests at Royal Tulip Kathmandu can now enjoy a seamless blend of premium hospitality and comprehensive wellness services under one roof.
