New speaker Dol Prasad Aryal takes oath at shital niwas

Kathmandu- Newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dol Prasad Aryal, has taken the oath of office and secrecy before President Ram Chandra Paudel. The oath-taking ceremony was held on Sunday at the President’s official residence, Shital Niwas.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Balen Shah, Chairperson of the National Assembly Narayan Prasad Dahal, Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, along with ministers, former prime ministers, leaders and representatives of various political parties, heads of constitutional bodies, senior government officials, and other distinguished guests.
