Bhatbhateni Pokhara Reopens After Major Fire Damage
Kathmandu-Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Pokhara has officially resumed operations after being damaged during the Gen-Z protests last Bhadra. The Lakeside outlet reopened on Monday following reconstruction, bringing the supermarket service back for customers in the area.
The Pokhara branch was among several Bhatbhateni outlets affected by arson during the protests. After months of repair, rebuilding, and preparation, the store has once again opened its doors, marking an important step in its recovery.
Along with the supermarket, its in-house Papa Pizza service has also returned to operation. The reopening has drawn attention as it reflects how businesses affected by the unrest are gradually trying to rebuild and return to normal.
This is the fourth Bhatbhateni outlet to reopen after the incident, while preparations are reportedly underway to bring other affected branches back into operation in the coming days.
