Mahindra’s Summit Drive Kicks Off to Everest

September 25, 2018: Mahindra & Mahindra, flagged off the Summit Drive-2018 to the Everest Base Camp under its “Mahindra Adventure” campaign, a unique experiential marketing initiatives in Nepal.

 

The Summit Drive left Kathmandu with a convoy of 29 vehicles consisting of Mahindra Scorpio, XUV500 and the Scorpio Getaway, Mahindra and Mahindra. The drivers will go to the Everest Base Camp on the Tibetan (China) side, overcoming the treacherous and challenging no-road conditions in Nepal and Tibet.

 

The convoy will drive through the ‘roof of the world’, Tibet, to the forbidden city of Lahsa – home of the Potala Palace and numerous monasteries. The convoy will be back to Kathmandu on October 4 covering 3000 kms.

 

Mahindra Adventure which started in India in 2011 is a pioneer concept of “arrive and drive” to showcase the tough and rugged DNA of Mahindra vehicles.
