Trip Turbo Partners With Agoda To Make Global Hotel Booking Easier For Nepali Travellers
Kathmandu — Nepal’s popular travel app Trip Turbo has announced a strategic partnership with global digital travel platform Agoda, allowing Nepali travellers to book international hotels more easily in Nepali currency.
With this collaboration, Trip Turbo users will now get access to Agoda’s global hotel network, which includes millions of hotels and holiday properties around the world. The partnership is expected to make international travel planning more convenient, secure, and reliable for Nepali users.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Trip Turbo founder Shikhar Prasai said the partnership will help Nepalis travelling abroad book hotels in a simple way through the Trip Turbo app. He added that users can download the app, complete the booking process quickly, and receive support from the Trip Turbo team if needed.
The agreement was signed by Trip Turbo founder Shikhar Prasai and Agoda Chief Commercial Officer Damien Pfirsch. According to Prasai, the partnership combines Agoda’s international reach with Trip Turbo’s strong understanding of the Nepali travel market.
Trip Turbo, founded in 2021, officially launched its mobile app in September 2024. Available on Android, iOS, and web, the platform offers domestic and international flight tickets, bus tickets, international hotel booking, more than 200 indoor and outdoor activities, and overnight stay services.
Within a short period, Trip Turbo has crossed 500,000 downloads across Android and iOS. Agoda, meanwhile, offers access to more than 6 million hotels and holiday properties worldwide and is available in 39 languages through its website and mobile app.
