RSS Photojournalist Pradeep Raj Onta Honored with Corporate Photography Excellence Award 2026

Kathmandu – Senior photojournalist at the National News Agency (Rastriya Samachar Samiti – RSS) and President of the National Photojournalist Group, Pradeep Raj Onta, has been honored with the Corporate Photography Excellence Award–2026.

The award was presented during the Corporate Excellence Award–2026 ceremony organized by Corporate Media Group. Wanta has been actively contributing to journalism for the past 17 years, covering political, economic, entertainment, and sports sectors while also working to strengthen the rights and professional development of photojournalists.

The ceremony, held at Hotel Radisson in Lazimpat, featured the presence of State Affairs and Good Governance Committee Chair Hari Dhakal and former FNCCI President Bhawani Rana, who jointly presented the award and certificate to Wanta.

According to Corporate Media Group Chair Ujjwal Jung Shah, the event recognized outstanding contributions across 23 different categories, including corporate photography.

Organized in collaboration with the Ishwor Lal Foundation, the awards aim to honor individuals and institutions making significant contributions to Nepal’s private sector, including banking, insurance, industry, healthcare, energy, tourism, and entrepreneurship.

The event also featured discussions on Nepal’s current economic situation, investment climate, challenges faced by the private sector, and prospects for economic recovery. Key business leaders, including representatives from FNCCI, CNI, and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, participated in the discussions.
