MŌDA Yoga Festival 2026 concludes drawing over 1,000 participants
Lalitpur — The MŌDA Yoga Festival 2026 concluded successfully in Lalitpur on Saturday, attracting more than 1,000 participants for a day-long celebration of yoga, wellness, mindfulness, music, art, and conscious living.
Organized by MŌDA Yoga Studio at Kundalini Ayurveda, Bakhundole, the festival was held to mark International Yoga Day and featured a range of activities, including yoga sessions, workshops, live performances, and a conscious marketplace.

The event commenced at 7:00 am with a free community Hatha Yoga session led by the MŌDA Yoga team, followed by a free inversion and handstand workshop conducted by Pijja Maharjan and team.

A major attraction of the festival was the Influencer Yoga, Sound Healing, and Wellness Brunch curated by Ronali Amatya and her team. The session brought together wellness advocates, content creators, and lifestyle influencers to promote mindfulness and healthy living.

“Our intention is to promote wellness, and we are considering declaring the coming year as the ‘Year of Wellness.’ This program is completely community-driven, and we are trying to offer a premium experience free of charge,” she said.

Amatya added that the festival also provided a platform for local brands, artists, and entrepreneurs while encouraging healthier lifestyle choices.

The Conscious Marketplace, which opened in the afternoon, showcased a variety of sustainable and wellness-oriented products from local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The marketplace includes Xue Mo International Publication, ST Maharjan Jewels, Khetipati Organics, Temple of Plants, The Third Eye Tarot, AlchemyAura, Sonika (Newari Food), Eliza (Street Snacks), Stitched Tales, Sitaram Dairy Milks Kathmandu, Just Cookies, Plutonic Tech, Khajurico Pasal, Herba Wanders, Sabaratagro Farm, Nice Vegan Chocolate, Dragonfly Nepal, Nefyra Studio, GharKo Sattu, and Pottery by Happy Space.

Live instrumental performances by Roshan Maharjan and team added to the festival’s atmosphere, while the event concluded with a Sunset Kirtan Concert led by Sajal Neupane and team.
According to the organizers, the festival aimed to promote yoga, wellness, unity, and conscious living while fostering greater awareness of healthy and mindful lifestyles. Nepal on the Web served as the media partner for the event.
