RSP’s Newly Elected Office Bearers and Central Committee Members Take Oath
Kathmandu8-The newly elected office bearers and central committee members of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have officially taken their oath of office.The oath-taking ceremony was held at the party’s central office in Chamati, where RSP President Rabi Lamichhane administered the oath. Following the ceremony, Lamichhane presented certificates and the party’s bell-emblem insignia to the newly elected leaders.
The party’s first national convention was held in Chitwan from June 21 to June 26 (Asar 7–12), during which 99 central committee members were elected.
The convention also elected Rabi Lamichhane as President, Swarnim Wagle and Sobita Gautam as Vice Presidents, Bipin Acharya as General Secretary, and Hari Dhakal, Asim Shah, and Nisha Dangi as Joint General Secretaries.Under the party’s statute, 11 office bearers, including a senior leader, will be nominated to complete the 19-member leadership team. The statute also provides for the nomination of 51 additional central committee members.
