Rabi Lamichhane Plans China Visit, Seeks Meeting With President Xi Jinping

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane is preparing to visit China at the invitation of the Communist Party of China. According to senior party sources, a five-member delegation led by Lamichhane is expected to travel to Beijing.

The visit is tentatively planned for the final week of Shrawan, although the schedule may change. Party officials said preparations and coordination with the Chinese side are currently underway.

A senior party leader said the Rastriya Swatantra Party has requested Chinese officials to arrange a meeting between Rabi Lamichhane and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the visit. However, the meeting has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to the party, the delegation is expected to discuss relations between the political parties of Nepal and China, bilateral cooperation, and current regional issues. The visit is also expected to strengthen political communication and engagement between the two sides.
