Ncell brings ‘Travellers’ SIM’
May 15, 2019: Foreigners visiting Nepal from different parts of the world for vacation or business trip can now enjoy exclusive telecommunications service through Ncell’s ‘Travellers’ SIM’ bundled with voice and data packs.
Ncell Private Limited has introduced the ‘Travellers’ SIM’ campaign which is coming into effect from Tuesday (May 14). Foreign nationals who visit Nepal can now easily subscribe to a starter pack of Travellers’ SIM at just Rs 110 (inclusive of taxes). They can also enjoy various combo packs of voice and data service as per their duration of stay in Nepal and service requirement.
In the starter pack, along with the SIM card, subscribers are entitled to get the main balance of Rs 30 and 300 MB data valid for 3 days. The main balance can be used to make calls within the Ncell network.
After activation of the starter pack, foreigners can buy Combo Packs especially designed for them at price ranging from Rs. 490 to Rs. 1,960 as per their communication need. In Combo Pack, there are four different options—Light, Medium, Heavy and Super—which tourists can buy as per their need and duration of stay in Nepal.
Light Pack bundled with 7GB data and 20 minutes talk time costs Rs 490 and it is valid for 7 days. For those who plan to stay in Nepal for a bit longer duration, they can buy Medium Pack and Heavy Pack. In Medium Pack, subscribers get 14 GB data and 30 minutes of talk time at Rs 980. Heavy Pack comes with 21 GB data and 40 minutes talk time. It costs Rs 1,470 and is valid for 21 days.
For those foreign visitors, who require more volume of data and voice service during their stay in Nepal, they can buy Super Pack at Rs 1,960. This pack is bundled with 28 GB data and 50 minutes of talk time with a validity of 28 days.
For activation of any of the Combo Packs, customers can dial *17105# and follow the instructions accordingly.

Initially, the ‘Travellers’ SIM’ will be available from Ncell’s counter in the Tribhuwan International Airport and Ncell Centres across the country and gradually, the SIM will be made easily available from all Point of Sales (PoSs). Foreigners are required to submit their recent passport size photo and a copy of their passport to get the starter pack.
