LALITPUR — A passenger bus overturned at Gwarko Chowk, Lalitpur, after the driver allegedly attempted a reckless overtaking maneuver, according to eyewitnesses.
According to Lalitpur District Police Office SP Gautam Mishra, the bus bearing registration number Ba 2 Kha 3590 was involved in the accident.
Approximately 40-year-old Manisha Tamang died in the crash, police confirmed.
A total of six people were injured and were rushed to B & B Hospital for treatment.
Police have taken the bus driver into custody, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident
