Kathmandu – Banks partnering with the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 are offering special auto loan schemes and on-site financing services to visitors purchasing vehicles at the expo.
Global IME Bank, the expo’s co-sponsor, along with banking partners Siddhartha Bank and NMB Bank, have introduced attractive financing options for customers. Visitors can select their preferred vehicle and then visit the banks’ stalls to register or apply for an auto loan.
The banks are offering loans at rates ranging from around 0.5% to 1% above their base rates, while service charges have reportedly been kept at around 0.5%.
As visitor numbers increase, the banks are also seeing growing interest in vehicle financing. Customers can register their details, scan QR codes to apply, and receive assistance connecting with nearby bank branches for further loan processing.
Bank representatives said the special interest rates and simplified application process were introduced specifically to support vehicle buyers during the expo.
The second edition of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo aims to promote sustainable, green and technology-friendly transportation in Nepal. The event features participation from domestic and international automobile manufacturers and importers, with new electric cars, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles among the major attractions.
