Kathmandu: NCCS Group has provided Rs 1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support search and rescue, emergency relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.
The contribution was made through three institutions under the group. National Creative Co-Educational School donated Rs 300,000, NCCS Higher Secondary School contributed Rs 300,000, while the National College of Computer Studies (NCCS) provided Rs 400,000.
NCCS Group said the assistance was extended as part of its commitment to social responsibility, with the aim of supporting affected families during the immediate relief and recovery phase.
The Bhotekoshi flood has caused significant damage in Rasuwa and surrounding areas, leading to continued search, rescue and humanitarian assistance efforts.
For more than 25 years, NCCS has contributed to Nepal’s education sector, particularly in information technology and management. The QAA-certified institution, affiliated with Tribhuvan University, focuses on academic learning alongside leadership, professional skills and personal development.
The group has also continued to emphasise community support and social responsibility alongside its educational activities.
