Kathmandu: Bangladesh has expressed its readiness to support Nepal as rescue and relief operations continue in areas affected by the recent floods.
During a telephone conversation, Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman discussed possible assistance and coordination between the two countries.
Khanal thanked Bangladesh for its offer of support and said Nepal would remain in close contact regarding any assistance needed for ongoing search, rescue and relief efforts.
The exchange reflects regional solidarity as Nepal continues responding to the flood disaster and working to assist affected communities.
