KATHMANDU – Dakshinkali Investment and Securities, Broker No. 33, has provided NPR 10 lakh in financial assistance for people affected by the recent floods, while also introducing measures to help affected investors receive payments from share sales more quickly.
The company contributed the amount to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund as part of activities marking its 17th anniversary. The support is intended to contribute to ongoing relief efforts for communities affected by the disaster.
In another initiative, Dakshinkali Investment and Securities announced that investors from flood-affected areas who sell shares through the company will be provided payment immediately instead of having to wait for the regular settlement period. The measure is aimed at helping affected investors access their money more quickly during a difficult period.
As part of its anniversary programme, the company also organised an investor awareness programme covering capital market risks, challenges faced by investors, common issues in share trading and ways to improve financial awareness.
The company also recognised 10 employees who have served for more than a decade, honouring their long-term contribution to the organisation.
Additionally, a blood donation programme was organised with technical support from the Nepal Red Cross Society, adding a community service initiative to the company’s anniversary activities.
