KATHMANDU – Kohinoor Investment and Securities, Broker No. 35, has contributed NPR 11 lakh to support people affected by the recent floods.
The company deposited the financial assistance into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, saying the contribution is intended to support relief distribution, rescue operations and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by the disaster.
The assistance comes after severe flooding on Bhadra 10 caused significant loss of life and property and damaged physical infrastructure in affected areas.
Kohinoor Investment and Securities said the contribution was made as part of its social responsibility, with the aim of supporting ongoing government-led relief and recovery efforts.
Following the flood damage, the government has also called on individuals, organisations and businesses to contribute to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to strengthen assistance for affected communities.
