Kathmandu – OPPO has officially launched the OPPO Reno16 Series in Nepal, introducing the Reno16 5G and Reno16 F 5G with upgraded cameras, AI-powered features, large batteries and premium design.
The smartphones were unveiled at a fashion-focused launch event featuring Miss Nepal World 2022 Priyanka Rani Joshi, GadgetByte Nepal CEO Pratima Adhikari and moto vlogger Surakshya KC.
Alongside the smartphones, OPPO also introduced the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic accessory that works as a rear-camera preview screen and remote shutter. Priced at NPR 15,999, it is available at a promotional price of NPR 9,999 for a limited period.
The OPPO Reno16 Series in Nepal features the brand’s 3D Pop Planet Design. The Pop White variant introduces HoloVerse 3D Technology, while the Reno16 comes with a 6.32-inch display and the Reno16 F features a larger 6.57-inch screen.
For photography, both models feature a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view, along with a triple rear-camera system offering OIS, telephoto portrait capabilities and an ultra-wide camera.
The phones also include creative features such as Pop Cam, AI Remix Collage, Popout Collage 2.0, 4K Auto Straighten Video and Dual View Video 2.0.
Running on ColorOS 16, the series introduces AI tools including AI Snap Key, AI Mind Space, AI Mind Pilot and AI Menu Translation. The Reno16 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform and packs a 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno16 F features a 7,000mAh battery. Both support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The devices also feature AI LinkBoost 4.0 and IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for enhanced water and dust resistance.
The OPPO Reno16 5G is priced at NPR 109,999, while the OPPO Reno16 F 5G costs NPR 89,999. Both models are available in Pop White and Twilight Violet through OPPO’s authorized retail channels across Nepal.
As part of the launch offer, the first 500 customers purchasing either model will receive OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro for free, subject to availability and applicable terms. Buyers can also access phone replacement and extended after-sales warranty offers during the promotional period.
