Kathmandu – Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel, who is currently on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun on Bhadra 31.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters related to mutual interests and Nepal-China military relations, highlighting the continued engagement and cooperation between the two countries’ defence sectors.
As part of his visit, General Sigdel also conducted an inspection visit to the National Defence University (NDU) of China in Beijing. He further attended the opening session of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, an international platform that brings together defence officials, military leaders and security experts for discussions on regional and global security issues.
The official visit is focused on strengthening institutional ties and enhancing exchanges between the Nepal Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army through continued dialogue and cooperation.
