Kathmandu – United Nations Resident Coordinator for Nepal Lila Peters Yahia held a courtesy meeting with Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
During the meeting, Lila Peters Yahia and Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between Nepal and the United Nations and enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The discussion focused on expanding partnership, improving coordination and increasing cooperation between Nepal and the UN system to support shared development priorities and ongoing initiatives.
The meeting was part of regular diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening Nepal’s relationship with the United Nations and promoting continued collaboration on national and international priorities.
