Kathmandu – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended regular share trading today following a technical issue at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd. that started on the morning of Ashoj 4.
The data center operated by Data Hub, which hosts servers of 72 trading member companies, has not yet resolved the technical problem. The Brokers Association had requested a trading suspension, stating that continuing transactions without fixing the issue could risk system disruptions.
NEPSE suspended trading on Ashoj 5 under Rule 21(1) of the Securities Listing and Trading Regulations, 2075, and apologized to investors and stakeholders for the inconvenience caused.
NEPSE stated that efforts are ongoing to resolve the Data Hub technical issue and resume normal market operations.
