Kathmandu – Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that relations between Nepal and India have always remained cordial and close.
Balendra Shah made the remarks during a farewell meeting with Naveen Srivastava, India’s ambassador to Nepal, who is returning to India after completing his tenure. Srivastava visited the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar for the farewell meeting.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah expressed special appreciation for the assistance provided by the Indian government during the recent floods, landslides and other disasters in Nepal.
Balendra Shah also congratulated Srivastava on completing his diplomatic tenure and extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.
During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava said that several development projects had been completed between the two countries during his tenure. He also expressed his gratitude to the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people for their support and cooperation during his stay in Nepal.
