SportsConnect to be Hosted in April
MICE International Service P. Ltd and Nepal Esports Association (NESA) are collaborating to organize SportsConnect, a special initiative facilitating networking and collaboration among various sports organizations, including the Nepal Olympic Committee, for the first time in Nepal. Scheduled for April 4-6, 2024, at Kathmandu’s Bhrikutimandap, the SportsConnect event will host three major simultaneous events: the 4th Nepal Esports Championship & Expo 2024, the Sports and Fitness Expo 2024, and the Nepal Sports Conclave 2024. This convergence will bring together numerous sports professionals, policymakers, industry figures, enthusiasts, and the public under one roof.

4th Nepal Esports Championship & Expo 2024: The 4th Nepal Esports Championship & Expo 2024, organized by NESA, is a central attraction promising thrilling competitions and showcasing the rapidly evolving world of esports. Following the success of previous events, NESA is fully prepared for this mega event. Having already made a significant impact on the esports industry in Nepal, NESA’s participation in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China marked a major achievement in 2023.
This year’s championship will feature popular esports titles such as Dota 2, Counter Strike 2, PUBG Mobile, MLBB Open, MLBB Women, and eFootball. Players and teams will compete for glory and the opportunity to represent Nepal internationally. Winners will receive the National Champion Title, Trophy, Medals, and Certificate. Excitingly, this championship will serve as the national qualifier for the 16th World Esports Championship 2024 organized by the International Esports Federation (IESF) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 11th to November 19th, 2024, providing talented esports athletes the chance to compete against top global competitors.
Ensuring widespread coverage and engagement with sports enthusiasts across the nation, Kantipur Television (KTV MAX) has joined in hand to exclusively cover live broadcast 4th Nepal Esports Championship 2024.
Sports & Fitness Expo 2024: This milestone event in Nepal will be a comprehensive celebration of the sports, esports, and fitness industry. It will bring together a diverse range of participants for networking and collaboration opportunities.
Nepal Sports Conclave: The Nepal Sports Conclave organized in collaboration with Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) is a platform dedicated to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation within the sports industry in Nepal. It aims to bring together key stakeholders, experts, and enthusiasts to drive positive change and growth in the sports sector.
Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) has extended its support to the event, recognizing the importance of media coverage in promoting sports and fitness awareness in Nepal. Also, Nepal National International Players Association (NNIPA) & Nepal Olympian Association (NOA) has extended its support to event.
NCC (Nepal Chamber of Commerce) joins hands as supporters for the event, fostering collaboration and
growth of sports industry in connection with business and trade in sports industry by promoting Sports & Fitness Expo.
