IMS Motors Partners with Korean SsangYong
May 12, 2016: IMS Group has stepped into automobile business. The group which has been the authorised distributor of Samsung smartphones for a long time has acquired the distribution of SsangYong vehicles for Nepal. The Group launched IMS Motors and unveiled the luxury Korean vehicles brand on May 11 amid a program organised in SsangYong showroom located at Uttardhoka, Kathmandu. The showroom was jointly inaugurated by Deepak Malhotra, Chairman of IMS Group and Dikesh Malhotra, President and CEO of IMS Group.
SsangYong Motor Company is the fourth largest South Korean automobile manufacturer and has variety of model line-ups like luxury cars, SUVs, Pickup trucks, vans, trucks and buses in its product portfolio.
According to IMS Motors, the newly opened showroom has different models of luxury cars and SUVs, including Tivoli, Korando, Rexton, Kyron and Actyon Sports. Some of the features available in Trivoli are ABS and EBD system where body frame is made out of ultra high strength steel with large boot capacity. Similarly, the Korando is featured with dual automatic a/c with active AWD lock mode system and has attractive day-time running lights and Bluetooth connectivity.
Likewise, Rexton has seven seating arrangement with premium leather interior. It is also facilitated by three driver seat memory and impressive HID headlamps. Meanwhile, Kyron incorporates features like front dual airbags and highly reinforced ultra rigid steel frame for safety. Similarly, the SsangYong Actyon Sports comes with new sports design along with luxurious interior and durable bed liner for better protection.
Trivoli, Korando, Rexton, Actyon sports are priced at Rs 5.37 million, Rs 7.52 million, Rs 9.97 million and Rs 5.5million respectively in the Nepali market. SsangYong has two authorised service centers located at Jwagal, Lalitpur and Ratopul, Kathmandu. IMS Motors is offering Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung 40” TV and a washing machine through scratch coupons for the first 14 ‘special’ customers.
