Nepal International Tourism Expo (NITE-2024) postponed to 14 & 15 June
The Nepal International Tourism Expo (NITE-2024) which was originally scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 1 will now be held on June 14 and 15 at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu. It is due to the upcoming elections in India, causing restricted movement and closure of certain border points between Nepal and India, which would make it difficult for delegates and participants from various countries to attend.
Nepal International Tourism Expo is the first and the largest tourism exhibition in Nepal dedicated to the travel industry to bring together the entire spectrum of the travel and tourism sector. The purpose of this event is to foster genuine global networking opportunities in a physical setting providing attendees with a platform to forge meaningful connections and drive business growth by engaging potential customers.
Over 250 buyers, more than a thousand trade visitors, and over 130 exhibitors from countries including Nepal, India, China, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Turkey, the Philippines, and Azerbaijan will be participating.
The Expo will feature participation from various sectors such as travel agencies, hotels, airlines, tour operators, and more, aiming to promote collaboration and facilitate networking opportunities. The event is promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board where the HAMS Hospital is the Health Partner, and Swift Holidays Transport is partnering for NITE-2024.
The Expo will host panel discussions on various topics related to tourism, aiming to increase commercial contacts and enhance the development of Nepal’s tourism industry.
