Chery’s Jaecoo J6 car arrives in Kathmandu
Kathmandu: The J6 car from Chery’s sub-brand Jaecoo has debuted in Kathmandu. SPG Automobiles, the official distributor of Omoda vehicles, introduced the J6 to the capital on Wednesday. The vehicle, noted for its bulky jeep-like appearance, has been priced at 6.99 million Nepali Rupees.
The car was transported to Kathmandu via the Tatopani checkpoint. This marks the arrival of the first unit of the J6 in Nepal.
Equipped with a 135-kilowatt motor, the J6 will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show, scheduled for the second week of Bhadra. The vehicle boasts a length of 4.4 meters and a wheelbase of 2.7 meters. Its 69.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack offers an impressive range of 501 kilometers on a full charge.
Similar to Tesla, the J6 features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) integrated with a DJI camera, enhancing its technological edge in the market.
