Rato Machhindranath chariot reaches Jawalakhel
Lalitpur: The annual Rato Machhindranath Chariot procession, a significant cultural event, has successfully reached Jawalakhel with all the traditional pomp and widespread public participation.
On the final day of the procession, the chariot was ceremoniously pulled from Lagankhel to Jawalakhel, drawing large crowds of enthusiastic onlookers and devotees.
The event will culminate in the grand ‘Bhoto Jatra’ on August 4 at Jawalakhel Chowk. This traditional ceremony features the display of the ornate vest, or ‘bhoto,’ and is regarded as a festival highlight, attracting even more spectators to witness the historic spectacle.
