Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2024: Registration open
The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has officially announced the 5th edition of the Nepal Infrastructure Summit (NIS) 2024, set to take place on September 12-13, 2024, at The Soaltee in Kathmandu. This year’s summit, themed “Driving Sustainable Development through Strategic Investment,” will focus on addressing the pressing infrastructure challenges and exploring the opportunities vital for Nepal’s growth.
NIS 2024 will gather a distinguished group of local and international leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders for high-level discussions on innovative solutions and strategic investments essential for the country’s infrastructure development. The summit aims to explore pathways to sustainable development, emphasizing creating resilient, inclusive, and green infrastructure that aligns with Nepal’s long-term goals.
Key highlights of the summit include thematic sessions on “Sustainability” and “Regional Infrastructure and Integration.” The “Sustainability” session will delve into sustainable infrastructure practices, green financing, and long-term development strategies, while the “Regional Infrastructure and Integration” session will examine regional initiatives and their impact on economic growth and integration. Additionally, the summit will feature a session on “Private Sector Engagement,” focusing on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and the role of the private sector in driving infrastructure projects. Fiscal, monetary, and regulatory policies critical to infrastructure development will also be discussed, with experts proposing necessary reforms to enhance the investment climate in Nepal.
