Royal Thai Embassy to host Thai Film Festival in Kathmandu
The Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu is set to organize the “Thai Film Festival in Nepal 2024” from August 30 to September 1 at Chhaya QFX, Kathmandu. This marks the fourth edition of the Thai Film Festival in Nepal, with the previous one held in 2013.
The festival is part of the celebration of 65 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Nepal. The event aims to strengthen the bond between the two nations by connecting Thai and Nepali people through the universal language of film.
The festival will feature a diverse lineup of acclaimed and award-winning Thai movies, ranging from drama, comedy, and romance to horror and Muay Thai. In addition to the cinematic experience, participants will have the opportunity to savor authentic Thai cuisine.

The event is open to the public, and tickets will be distributed free of charge at the entrance of Chhaya QFX before each screening.
