Nepal Adventure Expo 2024 set for September 28
The second annual Nepal Adventure Expo is set to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM at Aranya Boutique Hotel in Nagpokhari. Organized by AR Ventures, the event aims to promote Nepal’s diverse adventure tourism offerings, including trekking, mountaineering, and cultural experiences.
According to Sonam Jangbu Sherpa, the organizer, over 50 stalls will showcase a wide range of adventure gear, from trekking equipment to extreme sports products. The Nepal Tourism Board is collaborating with AR Ventures to promote the event, with Classitech as the internet partner, Aranya Boutique Hotel as the venue partner, and Sattya Collective as the design partner.
The expo will also feature workshops, storytelling sessions, and documentary screenings related to adventure tourism. Ajay Narsingh Rana, co-organizer and founder, stated, “After the success of the Nepal Bicycle Expo in 2021, we were inspired to create another event focused on outdoor adventure.”
With the major festivals of Dashain and Tihar approaching, Sherpa expects a significant increase in domestic tourism. The expo provides a convenient platform for visitors to explore travel destinations, clothing, gear, and other outdoor necessities.
