OTTO Launched in Nepal
February 3, 2016: A new smartphone 'OTTO Mark' has entered the Nepali market. Digital Electronics, the authorized distributor of OTTO brand for Nepal unveiled the brand.The brand was launched by artists of LOOT-2, Haku (Actor Saugat Malla) and Gofle (Actor Dahayang Rai) along with the representatives from the distributor in Nepal, Jaima Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. (JIPL) amid a function in Tamrakar Complex, Newroad.
The OTTO MARK is designed in Singapore which comes with a cinematic 6 inch wide and 2.5D curved HD IPS Display. It has full metal back panel and thin bezels. Besides, it has a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB. The camera offers 13MP Auto-focus on the rear and 8MP in front. It has fast charging 3845mAh battery. The OTTO MARK is powered by Mediatek MT6735, 64 bit Quad-core processor and is integrated with Android Marshmallow 6.0 system. It adapts Dual SIM, Dual Stand-by modes and supports 4G LTE, 3G WCDMA, and GSM networks.
The OTTO MARK also offers 360 degree fast finger recognition on the rear and dedicated hardware Gyroscope sensor which enhances user experience in gaming and virtual reality applications. Furthermore, it has special control networking system which enables users to restrict usage of data by unwanted applications. It also has FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) where users can update their handset firmware over the carrier network. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 19,996 in the Nepali market.
