Bhaktapur Festival 2024: Celebrating culture and heritage from December 13-17 across historic Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur Municipality is hosting the Bhaktapur Festival 2024, a five-day cultural festival celebrating the city’s rich heritage, art, and traditions. The festival will take place from 13th to 17th December 2024, across various iconic locations throughout Bhaktapur, running daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The festival promises an array of attractions, including traditional cultural performances, vibrant processions, and exhibitions showcasing ancient crafts, pottery, wood carvings, and other local art forms. Visitors will also get a chance to indulge in authentic Newari cuisine at food stalls spread across the city.

A special highlight of the event will be interactive workshops that allow attendees to engage with Bhaktapur’s living traditions, offering an immersive experience for both locals and tourists alike.
