Madhyapur Mahotsav 2081 to showcase local art, dance, and cuisine across 5.5 kilometers
Madhyapur Thimi is a gateway to key tourist spots such as Bhaktapur, Changunarayan, and Dhulikhel. Known for its traditional crafts, vibrant festivals, and scenic beauty, Madhyapur Thimi is home to nearly 750 tangible heritage sites, including temples, traditional industries like pottery, and local delicacies such as Tikin Baji (beaten rice).
The Madhyapur Mahotsav 2081, taking place from December 27-29, 2024, will highlight the rich culture and heritage of the area. This event aims to promote Madhyapur as a hub, focusing on community involvement, cleanliness, and comprehensive promotion. The festival will span historic areas from Shankhadhar Chowk to Nil Barahi Temple, covering 5.5 kilometers.
