Kathmandu – Aarambha Sanskar Vidyalaya successfully hosted the inaugural Forge Nepal Demo Day at Hotel Malla, Kathmandu, celebrating the completion of a pioneering three-week AI startup sprint for students of Grades VII–IX (ages 12–15).
The event showcased how 28 students transformed into young founders, product builders, and entrepreneurs by conducting real customer interviews, identifying business problems, building AI prototypes using Claude Code, and deploying solutions with Kathmandu-based businesses.
Around 150 guests, including educators, parents, business leaders, bankers, technology professionals, media representatives, and potential investors, attended the Demo Day. The evening featured 18 startup-style pitches and live product demonstrations from student teams.
Chairman and Principal Naresh Prasad Shrestha described the event as “a genuine startup showcase,” while Program Director Ms. Liv Kobberstad emphasized that Forge Nepal focuses on “relentless action over theory.” CAN Federation Acting President Chiranjibi Adhikari highlighted the importance of a skills-first education system that empowers young innovators.
Chief Guest Milan Pandey and Special Guest Chiranjibi Adhikari praised youth-led innovation, and Dr. Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation, sent a video message supporting initiatives that nurture future tech leaders.
The program resulted in 12 student teams building working AI products, conducting 500+ customer interviews, and presenting venture-style pitches to investors and industry stakeholders.
