Applications open for Wedding Photo Award 2024!

The Kathmandu Photographers’ Association is organizing the KPA Wedding Photo Award 2024. The award ceremony will be held on Poush 12 at the Rashtriya Nachghar, Jamal, alongside a special event.

Talented photographers from across Nepal can submit a maximum of two wedding photographs they have captured. Additionally, participants can send one wedding video teaser in MP4 format, with a duration of up to 1 minute 30 seconds and a file size under 200 MB.

The deadline to submit entries is Mangsir 30. Interested participants need to fill out the Google form available at www.kpa.org.np, as informed by the organizers.

The primary goal of this program is to promote the artistic and cultural beauty of Nepali wedding traditions and to honor Nepali photographers, said Hari Prasad Ghimire, President of the Kathmandu Photographers’ Association.

“This award will play a key role in elevating our culture through the art of photography,” Ghimire stated. He also shared that a photo exhibition will be held at the National Art Council, Babarmahal, the day after the award ceremony.
