Kathmandu – The Asian Professional Achievement Award 2026 was successfully held in Kathmandu, recognizing outstanding individuals for their contributions across various sectors, including business, industry, energy, banking, insurance, tourism, hospitality, education, journalism, arts, aviation, social service, and entrepreneurship.
Organised by Season Media, the seventh edition of the prestigious award ceremony was attended by former President of Nepal Dr Ram Baran Yadav as the chief guest. The event brought together prominent business leaders, government representatives, journalists, artists, social workers, educationists, and professionals from Nepal and other Asian countries.
Several distinguished personalities were honoured for their achievements. Prem Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of Panchakanya Group, received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Industrial Leadership, while renowned music director and singer Sambhujit Baskota was honoured with the Legendary Music Maestro Award.
Other notable award recipients included Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhan Raj Acharya for Visionary Leadership in Urban Development and Public Service, Binayak Shah for Hospitality Industry Leadership Excellence, and Ambika Prasad Paudel for Outstanding Business Leadership.
Leaders from various sectors, including energy, journalism, banking, insurance, aviation, and corporate management, were also recognised for their professional excellence and social contributions.
The award ceremony also featured an international category, honouring professionals from Japan, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and China for their achievements in photography, education technology, drone aviation, business leadership, and global media.
Speaking at the event, Season Media Chairman Pradip Raj Onta said the award was not only a celebration of achievements but also a platform to recognise dedication, hard work, and contributions made by professionals across different fields.
Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav highlighted the importance of recognising talented individuals, stating that such initiatives inspire the younger generation and encourage greater contributions towards society and national development.
The organisers stated that the Asian Professional Achievement Award will continue to bring together outstanding professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and creative personalities from Nepal and across Asia to promote collaboration, international relations, and professional exchange.
