Bhaktapur Set to Host 8th Industrial, Cultural, Tourism, and Business Fair from 4-14 Apr
In Bhaktapur, the 8th Bhaktapur Industrial, Cultural, Tourism, and Business Fair is set to take place. During a press conference, it was announced that the fair will run from Chaitra 22 to Baishakh 2 (4-14 Apr).
The festival, organized by Industrial Peace Nepal and Madhyapur Business Band, will last for 11 days at Teenkune Chaur in Bhaktapur. With over 200 stalls, the event expects a turnout of more than 500,000 people. The President of the organizing committee, Sandeep Mahat, mentioned that the festival aims for a business turnover of around 12 crores.
The festival will feature stalls showcasing daily life consumables, clothes, shoes, handicrafts, and more. Additionally, there will be exhibitions on agriculture tools, information technology, and more.
The general entry fee for the festival is set at Rs. 70, while students will pay Rs. 50. Senior citizens will have free entry. For entertainment, there will be various games such as musical chairs and breakdancing for children. Cultural programs featuring national-level artists will be organized after the industrial fair ends on Baishakh 2, as informed by Sunil Bajracharya, the President of Madhyapur Business Band and the director of the festival. On that day, the entry fee will be Rs. 200.
