Bhat-Bhateni and Global IME Bank launch ‘Global BBSM Club Card’ for easier shopping

Kathmandu — Nepal’s leading retail chain Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket and Department Store has launched the ‘Global BBSM Club Card’ in strategic partnership with Global IME Bank Limited.

The co-branded closed-loop credit card has been introduced to provide Bhat-Bhateni customers with an easier, more convenient and affordable shopping experience.

Through this facility, eligible customers can purchase electronic goods and other products from Bhat-Bhateni stores without the pressure of making immediate full payment. Customers can buy goods in easy installments, making high-value purchases more manageable.

In the first phase, customers will be able to buy products worth up to Rs 1.5 million. Purchases above Rs 25,000 can be converted into installment payments for 3, 6, 9, 12 or 18 months under the Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) facility.

According to the company, eligible customers under the Global BBSM Club Card will receive a credit limit ranging from Rs 150,000 to Rs 300,000, based on their purchase history, loyalty membership details, credit score and Global IME Bank’s approval process.

The card will also allow customers to benefit from special discounts and attractive offers while shopping through EMI. The company believes the service will make both daily essentials and high-value goods more accessible to customers.

This facility will be available at Bhat-Bhateni stores across the country. Through this partnership, customers are expected to receive a modern banking and digital payment experience along with Bhat-Bhateni’s wide retail network.
