Chartered flight from Kunming lands in Pokhara, kicking off 3rd Pokhara International Mountain Cross-Country Race
A charter flight carrying participants of the 3rd Pokhara International Mountain Cross-Country Race landed at Pokhara International Airport on November 7th. The Nepal Tourism Board and Pokhara City Government organized a grand welcome ceremony, featuring a colorful floral welcome and traditional music. In a gesture of support, China’s Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, along with the team, traveled from Kathmandu to Pokhara to welcome the Chinese delegation.
The 2023 edition of the race was a huge success, drawing global attention to Pokhara. The event showcased the city’s stunning landscapes and offered a challenging course for runners. This year’s race is expected to be even bigger and better.
