Chhayanath Ultra Race: Dhir Bahadur And Sunmaya Win First Titles

Mugu – Chhayanath Ultra Race has crowned Dhir Bahadur Budha and Sunmaya Budha as the first winners in Mugu. The 33 km race started from Kimri and passed through Chhayanath and Chitaikuna before ending at Pulu. A total of 58 runners, including 46 men and 12 women, participated in the event.

Dhir Bahadur Budha won the men’s category after completing the race in 3 hours, 57 minutes and 25 seconds. Dal Bahadur Kunwar finished second with 4 hours, 2 minutes and 10 seconds, while Chandra Bahadur Rawat secured third place in 4 hours and 5 minutes.

Sunmaya Budha claimed the women’s title by finishing the race in 5 hours, 25 minutes and 50 seconds. Rammaya Budha came second with 5 hours, 26 minutes and 40 seconds, while Kalpana Budha finished third in 5 hours, 35 minutes and 20 seconds. The event aims to promote Chhayanath as a religious and adventure tourism destination.
